I found the work of Sharon Montrose and her popular Animal Print Shop through Sarah, whose family you saw featured last week. She was pregnant with Kingsley and would both couldn’t help but think of how perfect it would be to have a few of the beautiful baby animal photographs to decorate a nursery with. In few short years, the Animal Print Shop has grown and she began to offer unlimited edition small prints alongside her larger limited edition works.

When we started preparing for our baby I thought once again about the Animal Print Shop, but held out from purchasing for a few reasons. #1 we don’t have a dedicated nursery right now, instead we created a guest room for family and friends to stay in; #2 I couldn’t decide on what images to buy, or if I should splurge on a true piece of art in the limited edition form; #3 I thought I should try and take my own baby animal photos. That thought always crosses my mind. Thankfully we were spared from that scenario when I saw the image above on sale at Fab.The baby monkey print was the only one remaining so it was an easy decision and currently looks at home on the baby’s dresser.

Soon we’ll be thinking about creating a true nursery after we decide what kind of space we actually need. For now we are happy to have a place for wanted visitors to feel at home as they help us with the transition (that’s you mom! – and a few other people). While I would love to have a magazine worth nursery space that is pristine enough to be regularly pinned on pinterest, instead I’ll just pin those spaces and patiently wait for that day to come when I create my own. That day comes right? When we do everything we’ve pinned?

A classic Cape Cod wedding never goes out of style, especially at the Kittansett Club.

A Chautauqua wedding is stunning no matter the size. Karen and Walker pivoted to host the most amazing micro wedding at this historic American retreat.
