Another day at work. It doesn’t mean sitting all day at a desk (although I do a lot of that throughout the week), regular hours, or predictability. Instead I get to meet amazing people and have fun photographing their wedding day, creating beautiful images from them to remember it by. Zane and Cassandra are two such people who were married Saturday, and if they had a wedding every weekend I would gladly join them. Work like this is rewarding.

Of course, when you are up all night with food poisoning the night before a wedding, there are no sick days. I don’t think anyone could tell on Saturday, good thing I have lots of experience with sleepless nights taking care of a baby. One point for desk jobs. Still not enough to entice me back though.

A classic Cape Cod wedding never goes out of style, especially at the Kittansett Club.

A Chautauqua wedding is stunning no matter the size. Karen and Walker pivoted to host the most amazing micro wedding at this historic American retreat.
