This stylish Saratoga wedding at the Hall of Springs had a classic elegance. Black and white design details perfectly paired with the historic upstate New York venue. From the beginning, Nicole and Don knew their day would be a reflection of who they are as a couple. With the help of Albany wedding planner Katie O’ Events their day was elevated and luxurious.

The Hall of Springs is situated on the grounds of the Performing Arts Center within Saratoga Spa State Park. Saratoga is also home to the famous thoroughbred horse racing track – and site of several dates for Nicole and Don throughout their relationship.
Upstate New York Elegant Ballroom Wedding Venue
In fact, when deciding on a venue for their wedding they fell in love with the sophistication of the Hall of Springs ballroom. With chandeliers made of Belgium crystal and stunning vaulted ceilings that stretch 38 feet above the Italian marble floors, there are few upstate New York wedding venues that compete.
Inside the ballroom, florist Martin Dodge Designs created eye-catching vertical floral arrangements as centerpieces. The greenery was a pop of color to contrast the refined black and white tablescape. Katie O’ Events led the design team that ultimately brought this classic, gorgeous vision to life. Mazzone Hospitality impressed with all catering and cake creations.
The Bride wore Vera Wang for her Saratoga Wedding at the Hall of Springs
With exceptional taste, Nicole went to the city for her appointments at Vera Wang, where she found the perfect dress. Her vision for the black and white design of the day carried through to her white Valentino rockstud heels. The bridesmaids wore black, looking stunning on location at the church and on the grounds of the Saratoga Spa State Park.
Bella Figura Wedding invitations with black + white color palette
Paper goods were one of the priorities for the couple. Invitations set the expectation for the day, and Bella Figura has a wide range of capabilities. Leaning on strong typography and tactile letterpress these pieces were stunning.
With a heartfelt ceremony taking place in a church, Nicole and Don then welcomed guests for an evening of dinner, drinks and lots of dancing. They had the most vibrant celebration that flowed throughout the venue, and ended with a sparkler send off from the wedding party. I love photographing some images at night, and rounding out the library of natural and editorial style photographs.
