Rochester family photos
Letchworth State Park is a hidden gem, full of lush greenery for beautiful film photographs and capturing the best Rochester family photos. Since I switched from digital imagery to film (think Kodak + Fuji in medium format!) I’m so in love with the results.
Brynne’s 6 month session took place outside of Rochester New York and I traveled to document her for the second time since I photographed her just a few days old. It was so fun to spend time with her and her parents in Letchworth for an evening and hear the secrets of House Hunters (they just filmed for the show). Brynne is a little doll, and has grown up so much and yet these images will capture a time so memorable since 6 months is right around the sitting up, starting to eat, get a few teeth and just experience some of the changes that slowly take babies into toddlers.
I used Kodak Tri-X 400 for the black and white images and Portra 400 for the color, all medium format shot with the Contax 645 and developed and scanned by the FIND lab. Take a look at what I captured and enjoy!
