It started in Michigan. Lauren + Joe were in college, figuring out where to go next, and Joe went to Philadelphia, Lauren moved to New York. They were following dreams and pursing goals but they weren’t together.  Distance can be handled for only so long, before you start to ask – and answer – those hard questions about yourself and your relationship. Lauren ended up landing a job in Philly and they continued to build their life together. Since they now call the city home we planned a Philadelphia engagement session and I traveled down a few weeks ago to capture it. This fall they will tie the knot and are planning the most amazing Detroit wedding at the Colony Club. I simply can not wait to head home to Michigan and document it!
