A wedding day can often feel like a dream. It goes by so quickly as the moment thought through and planned for unfold before your eyes. You need to be reminded to stop and savor, hang on to a moment you will look back on. Nothing relives a dream like an image, a moment that lets you remember.
Of all the things to remember from Jackie and Peter’s day : the anticipation before the ceremony, the thrill of walking down the aisle, the exclamation as they entered the reception… it’s the simple exchanges that speak volumes. Looking over at each other, standing side by side on their wedding day, there is something that can’t be replicated and I’m pretty sure that something is love.
It was such a pleasure to photograph this classic wedding at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, New York. There is a certain elegance about the day that will never go out of style and that is something I love to capture. Congratulations again Jackie + Peter and I wish you many happy years together. Take a look at a few of the images I captured, I hope you enjoy!
