Teresa + Josh’s wedding was incredible. Two kind and creative people, a bridal party with personality, amazing venues and details were the backbone of the day. I will save the details for the full post, but I had to share one of the best decisions that they made : an hour of pictures in the gardens at the Eastman House. It was a gift from Josh’s parents for their wedding day and the setting for just about all of the family, bridal party, and portrait photos. To fit everything we wanted to in, we created a schedule that looked like this:
3:00 first look | 3:15 family photos (just immediate, so smaller groups) | 3:25 bridal party | 3:45 portraits
It seems like a tight time frame to work in, but it was actually just right. More importantly, the Eastman House provided so many beautiful locations to choose from and had some of the best light I’ve worked with this summer! It was my first time shooting there on a wedding day, but I can no confidently say it was a great decision and I hope to be back with couples again. I can’t wait to post more, but until then look for a few more previews here to tide you over until I do.
