I had no idea eggs came in all kinds of beautiful colors and hues growing up. It wasn’t until we started living in the country, buying locally, and then getting our own chickens that I learned about the variety of birds and eggs that they lay.

Last week all five of our chickens laid an egg. It was the first time we collected from every bird, each egg unique in its shape and color. The star of the show was the large blue egg, 110 grams compared to the typical 60gram eggs laid by the other girls. Fiancé (the chicken) was losing feathers trying to pop it out, and I can understand why.

No need to decorate eggs for Easter when they look this gorgeous on their own!

A classic Cape Cod wedding never goes out of style, especially at the Kittansett Club.

A Chautauqua wedding is stunning no matter the size. Karen and Walker pivoted to host the most amazing micro wedding at this historic American retreat.
