We have had a lot going on the past month : visits to see friends and of course take pictures, and lots of time in the backyard, about 6 new teeth for Daphne, and delicious food sprinkled in here and there. Every day is as busy as the last and yet there are so many rewards from time spent with family, invested in other people, enjoying creation.

On Easter Sunday, after having a few track athletes over for dinner (they had a meet the day before) we sat in the backyard on a blanket and fed Daphne dinner. The chickens roamed around, and the dogs eagerly awaited dropped food, and Daphne gave us a hard time as we tried to convince her to eat the last piece of clementine she was slowly squeezing in her hand. If you ever want to learn patience, feed a toddler something they aren’t quite sure of eating. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and I could not be more thankful to spend it with my little family.

Here’s a look at what our days look like at home and behind the scenes.

A classic Cape Cod wedding never goes out of style, especially at the Kittansett Club.

A Chautauqua wedding is stunning no matter the size. Karen and Walker pivoted to host the most amazing micro wedding at this historic American retreat.
