Some weddings are planned in weeks, with no prior decisions made… and others are planned in years, filled with dreams that finally come to life. This wedding was most certainly the latter. Logan shared : “By the time I was 8 years old, I knew exactly the wedding I wanted. Most girls dream of their wedding day at an early age, but as time goes on, their ideas change… but not for me. My dream wedding did not change one bit and by the time I got engaged, my vision was exactly the same as it had been when I was 8 years old.”
This refined and elegant wedding day was certainly a dream come true. Peonies filled Fox Chapel Golf Club, where the lush canvas of green set the stage for a beautiful day. Logan and Ted enjoyed a relatively stress free day as they got ready at the club and decided to start things off with a first look and a chance to spend as much time together – and with their guests – as possible. That was a good choice, since the weddings at Fox Chapel Golf Club are the kind you never want to end. From the sushi hor d’oueves to the fireworks at the end of the night, everything was memorable and magical.
I’m beyond honored that Logan called me right after getting engaged to talk to me about photographing her day. After joining her family in Florida to document her sister, Morgan’s wedding, I loved being able to join them in Pittsburgh. Logan and Ted are the kind of couple you just love to be around, and thank you once again for inviting me in to your lives! Enjoy looking back at their gorgeous day.
