It’s one part pop-up gallery, one part birthday party. I started planning for this event at the end of January: just enough time to always feel under pressure. It’s one way to get things done. Now we are just about a week away and I feel like I can sufficiently say I have a new appreciation for the work my couples are doing to plan their weddings.
I knew I wanted to do something for my birthday, and I knew I wanted to host an event and get some of my clients together. So, I decided to combine them and invite everyone to celebrate and see what my work looks like in person. I believe that your wedding photos will look beautiful, but that flash drive they are sitting on doesn’t do them justice. I think that seeing everyone’s reaction on social media is fleeting, but sitting down on your anniversary to look through the pages of pictures and re-live memories is lasting. Since I don’t have a studio it’s my chance to show you some work and introduce you to the way of preserving moments that I have fallen in love with.
I can’t wait to see some of you there! If you would love to see what I’m sharing or are interested in working with me in the near future, let me know and I can add you to the list for next time… although there probably won’t be a birthday involved. I’m hoping that there will be a next time because I like the idea of inviting people to get together. Stay in touch for updates from me here and with two invitations already confirmed missing in the mail I’m hoping there are not a lot more!
