Esperanza Mansion sits on a hill overlooking Keuka Lake. It’s one of many finger lakes – and area that lies in between the city which defines the state on the east and those landmarks that dot the western edge (Buffalo and Rochester). It may be an area overlooked by some but those that know it fall in love. That is precisely why it is the perfect place to tell a love story, and why Margaret and Chris chose it for the backdrop of their wedding day.

It was a sweep-you-off-your-feet kind of day, one that begged you to get wrapped up in the moment and celebrate. Margaret was a classic bride determined to have fun and Chris was a dapper groom unrelenting on the dance floor. They were a perfect pair, which is why they planned this day to celebrate the start of their marriage. Bright corals and pinks popped agains delicate creams and off white bridesmaid dresses, just like laughter resounded from the bridal party as they enjoyed time together before the ceremony and after the first look.

Their schedule was perfectly planned, not only because a first look allowed them to enjoy more of the day together, but because they avoided the rain after the ceremony. Eliminating the worry of missed pictures or an altered landscape, Margaret and Chris went straight to hosting their guests at the cocktail hour and – soon after – getting the party started.
