A month ago I collaborated with some talented people to capture a simple bridal session. It was a typical winter day in Buffalo, New York but inside the beauty that surrounded us transported us to a different place. Erin from Fern Croft Floral worked her magic with the floral design and provided beautifully delicate arrangements. The Hotel Lafayette set the stage for most of the day and the Mansion on Delaware was our location for some of the more intimate portraits. Local designers Made by Anatomy provided us with a ethereal veil and Paige wore her Anna Campbell gown. The silk dress, handmade in Australia, is both intricately detailed and impossibly lightweight. We had the best time capturing these images outside of the wedding day timeline and creating a collection of bridal moments to look back on. For a few moments, I even forgot it was winter.
I’m so grateful to Paige and Tierney who came up for the shoot and once again to my collaborators! Follow Mary Dougherty Photography to see more behind the scenes and enjoy this work!
