I have a curious little dachshund. It’s really not her fault. It’s in her blood to sniff, dig, and run after groundhogs. She’s never had a close encounter with one, and we’ve kept it that way since I’m sure it wouldn’t go very smoothly. Today on our run however, she came pretty close. After several minutes of searching for her we spotted her tail wagging out of a groundhog hole and came over in time to pull her out before anything happened. She came out covered in dirt, which of course called for a bath. It’s her least favorite time of day but she makes for a pretty cute and sad wet dog. I need to keep working on pictures of her shaking – like the one above – but she’s so fast!
