I have been taking full advantage of some time away in pacific northwest with my husband. I think it’s called vacation, but I’m not quite sure. Even though this trip is work related (I’m shooting Marianne + Jimmy’s wedding in Portland on Saturday!) we came out a few days early to have some fun. It has been much needed not only because we haven’t been on vacation since our honeymoon, but because right before leaving there were several problems that arose (sliced fingers, dropping equipment) that have been nice to forget about. I’m also just about to start the busiest part of wedding season so it’s nice to have a change of pace and get charged up before things go full speed ahead. On the ferry ride over to the island Matt was keeping me warm I was trying out poses and brainstorming ideas for couples and wedding so I’m thinking about you guys! Here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up too (we packed a lot in to a few days) and as you can tell I have adjusted to the time change so this is an evening read for all of you east coasters!
