A few days ago I made these heavenly cinnamon rolls, and yes, they tasted as good as they look. Actually I don’t think I did that good of a job frosting them, but cream cheese frosting is delicious no matter what it looks like! Side note: they were sooo easy to make. I stumbled upon the recipe on Bakerella‘s blog which she found from Pioneer Women – I love how easy it is to share recipes + post the results, so here’s my take on them. One difference you’ll notice if you look at either of their results is that I baked some of mine in muffin tins – which made them perfect individual servings, as it can get kind of messy when they’re all in the pan together. I can’t say that these are the healthiest cinnamon rolls, but everything in moderation, right?
I seem to gravitate towards cooking as another creative avenue and balance to photography or more likely all the work on the computer that comes with digital photography. I love to try new things and often post about them (among the other things I’m up to) on twitter. If you haven’t found me on twitter, follow me at marydaph (also my flickr name). Twitter is the new small talk. While I’d love to invite you over and share some cinnamon rolls with you, unless you live nearby I don’t think you want to drive a few hours to do so. Instead, I’ll share the recipe online so you can make them and let me know what you think at the same time! Join the conversation
