I’m not sure if anything beats the fresh fruit of summer. It’s so juicy and delicious and gorgeous at the same time. I’ve been doing some random side projects to keep things fresh and this is one of them. After some recent trips to the Harrisonburg farmers market – and yes the grocery store where I admit I bought cherries from Washington, but you know what I think I would have driven there just to get some, and Matt would have come with me because he couldn’t keep his paws off them. Anyways I came home with some delicious stuff and decide to photograph it all. I’m thinking a nice little collection of these prints in my kitchen would be great – you know like a grid maybe 3×3 or 2 rows of 5 since I have 10, really. I like them as a set too so I haven’t really decided. Not only do they add some vibrant color but they will certainly keep everyone hungry – for fruits + vegetables! (no I’m not a vegetarian but I love fresh stuff like this) After taking these pictures I imagined photographing canned food and… yeah you know where I’m going. Anyways, enjoy this feast for your eyes!
cooked up the eggplant tonight + it was great. Green is my fav color, so I suppose I like that in a fruit/veg. Here’s the group shot, thankfully everyone smiled and I didn’t get any closed eyes so I didn’t have to take it again- you know how it can be.
