Sometimes I just need a break. No comparing, summarizing my worth in likes or over-thinking what I will post. Just being and finding joy in everyday life and interactions that happen face to face. It recharges me, because after being in the business of connecting, sharing and creating… and I can get really wrapped up in doing so. I’m sure you’ve done the same at times, or at least found yourself a little too consumed with whatever online presence you cultivate most. During the times when it becomes too much, I step back. I remember what is important and usually it doesn’t have anything to do with how popular I may or may not be. When I return to the community I have a new perspective and I’m able to see what others are sharing and share in their joy or celebrate their accomplishments… because after all, it is about relationships, isn’t it?
