When the world is covered in a blanket of white, the landscape is transformed. I love to go outside and enjoy the quiet surroundings. This month I’ll just have to use my imagination, as the grass is frosty but still green and there are no signs of a blizzard coming our way. The best blizzard I lived through was the one we had in Virginia in 2009/10. Snowpocalypse as they liked to call it. Matt says if that’s the best blizzard I’ve lived through then we need to move to a place with more snow. He laments the weather every day and likes to tell stories of the 80″ storms he experienced as a kid, sledding out of the second story of the house and getting in to all kinds of shenanigans.

If you need some wintery weather to spark your imagination – or just a change of scenery for your desktop – download this image for personal use + enjoy!
