I love seeing familiar faces. In a large group it’s something to put you at ease or in an empty place it’s a welcome reminder. When have the chance to photograph someone you’ve already met the ice has been broken and it’s easier to get right to work creating amazing photos. Maybe that was part of the reason this session was so good… maybe the light was amazing… or maybe Tess is just gorgeous.
A week ago I met Tess in Rochester for a senior portrait session. A familiar face from Carli + Dan’s wedding, and Tess was equally as fashionable and photogenic as her cousin Carli. In fact, she stopped over to their place to get some last minute outfit advice before the shoot, and I’m wondering if I could stop by next since clearly they are both on the right track. (I’m not sure the green dress I photographed Katie + Justin’s wedding in is doing anything for me… anything).
Honestly I can’t say more than I loved shooting these photos. Loved it. So you should take a look and see what you think.
This morning I’m off to my husband’s hometown in the Adirondacks (sadly without him) to shoot the wedding of Kat and Ryan – and event I’ve been sooo looking forward to! Have a lovely weekend and follow my weekend on twitter + instagram @marydaph if you’re interested!
