The other day I was visiting a friend, sitting in their office talking. Someone else walked in and surprised by my presence exclaimed “oh it’s pregnant Mary!” Haha. It’s true. These days (while for the most part I still feel like myself) it’s not just Mary… it’s pregnant Mary. For all of you family, friends, or self proclaimed stalkers of this blog, this is what I look like. Fresh from the camera, these pictures were taken this morning by my husband who I like to call shakey-hands-Matt because the coffee either doesn’t kick in or does too quickly in the morning. However, he managed to capture these four which I’m content with :)
The last five months have flown by, being packed with travel, adventure, and photographing amazing weddings. I really have loved being a part of each and every day, and am so thankful to my wonderful clients for trusting and investing in me to be there. I have five more weddings this season before I go on a so called maternity leave and spend a few months focusing on taking care of our baby! (ahhhh) Thankfully that break occurs fairly naturally in the winter anyway, so by the time May rolls around I’ll be ready to jump back in to the game and pick up where I left off. I still am looking to fill out my calendar for next year so I’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in booking. As usual I have a limited number of weekends available and am being more intentional with how I schedule so that I make sure to have time for family, rest, and balance in my travel schedule. So, if you or someone you know is looking for a photographer – I’d love to hear from them and the sooner the better!
More importantly, pretty much everyone who’s wanted to voice their opinion about what I’m having has told me they think it’s a boy! It’s funny because for the first few months when we kept everything to ourselves + close friends we were all convinced it was a girl. I guess it just proves that there’s a 50/50 chance for either… and I’m officially confused and have no clue what we’re having. So do I “look like” I’m having a boy – or if you’ve had a baby did people constantly tell you one thing or the other? All I know is that we need to nail down two good names!
