Visiting Lake Placid in the winter is truly magical. Coming to the Mirror Lake Inn for winter engagement photos is even better. One of my favorite things about living up here is capturing the beauty of this place. Photographing a proposal, engagement or portrait session while visiting the Mirror Lake Inn is so easy, because of the variety of locations nearby.

While I know this location well, and am based in the area, I love to find something new every time I shoot. This custom approach allows my clients to receive a one of a kind experience and image. Erin and Matt chose winter as the season for their engagement session because they love the season. We utilized the frozen lake and the softly falling snow. As a result their images are breathtakingly beautiful.
