I haven’t been good with business cards in the past. I order a hundred or so, hand out a few initially and then carry them around to all of the places I go with out sharing nearly as many as I should. If I have the same problem now, it’s only going to be because I love these little cards so much. I’m super excited to have my letterpress cards completely printed, cut and painted on the edge by the wonderful Margaret Boecker. Printed on Crane’s 220lb Pearl White Lettra they not only hold a deep impression but these little cards are substantial. They are the kind of thing you save or pass along – at least that’s what I hope – so I totally encourage people to give to a friend when they’re done. They are well made so they’ll be able to handle the wear and tear, and I love the idea of having a card that survives several uses.

It’s true, I like to recycle and am working finding the pieces to complete the rest of the materials in to my packaging. Of course, that has provided me with quite the conundrum as I want to have a well branded set of cohesive materials without giving you something to just throw away. That is why I’m choosing to order papers, mailers, and envelopes made from 100% recycled materials as much as possible. I’ll share the finished suite of materials when I’m done but for now I hope you enjoy the cards as much as I do. Margaret you did a fabulous job – and I would highly recommend talking to her if you’re interested in any letterpress work!
