It was literally a perfect fall day. I had suggested to Sarah and Mark that we add in some type of activity / scene / or location that would represent them, and be something they enjoy to do together. Viewing an engagement session as a date can help set the framework for how to approach it. Since they love the outdoors – and are on the canal near their home in Pittsford almost daily – it was clear that the location would be a good fit. They arranged to bring a canoe and from late afternoon until sunset they paddled around, relaxed in the boat and got back on dry land for a most memorable engagement session.

While there were times when they couldn’t see the scenes I was composing and capturing, they trusted me and this is just a taste of what I documented. See more previews here and look for a full post soon. Stay dry this rainy Monday!
