One of the best ways to determine your favorite types of wedding flowers are to look at past weddings and bridal bouquets. When wedding planning, flowers can play a key role in bringing together a cohesive design. You can start with them in mind at the beginning of planning or use them to tie everything together at the end.

It is helpful to think about types of wedding flowers under two main categories : structured and unstructured. An organic, loose bouquet can be full of texture and movement. It hints at a natural setting, or can offer contrast against modern elements of a wedding day. A structured bouquet often looks classic. The simple way to achieve this look is to use one type of wedding flower.

In contrast the stunning variety you see below in Jaclyn’s bouquet by Hops Petunia perfectly lends itself to her Catskills Wedding Venue. The daisies are unexpected and playful while as a whole bouquet reads as stunning and elegant.

Colleen carried one of the most stunning bridal bouquets that Stacy K Floral has ever created. Her modern wedding dress and the organic bouquet balanced each other perfectly.
Little Farmhouse Flowers created the red bridal bouquet you see below for my workshop. I love the color included and how vibrant and layered it is.
Jen is an artist, and her wedding at the Eastman House was a lush event with jewel tones and texture. Her bouquet was created by a friend, featured an air plant and several seed pods and was so stunning.

For the Island Elopement I created at my first Adirondack Wedding Workshop, Fern Croft created the natural bridal bouquet you see below with muted mauve roses and plenty of foraged grasses. The texture was amazing.
Foxfire Mountain House is a secluded wedding venue in the Catskills perfect for intimate parties and thoughtful events. It was there I captured this bridal bouquet by Kelly Lenard of Intertwine.
Allison’s December wedding featured a handmade dress fit for royalty, so it was no surprise her wedding bouquet followed suit. A simple bouquet of Lily of the Valley was fragrant and flown over from Holland.
