This Vermont wedding at the West Mountain Inn was all about the experience. Being together for the weekend, celebrating time with family and friends, and of course sharing in the joy of Meg + Chris. I don’t think it could have gone any better, and will keep looking back on this wedding as one of my favorites of the year. I love these two!
Meg and Chris met while moving in to start their graduate programs at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. As Meg’s sister was helping her unload her previous apartment’s worth of furnishings into a dorm room she looked over and saw Chris who had an equal amount of things to unpack. Both coming from professional careers they delved into the business world, and few years in New Hampshire drew them closer than ever.
It was a fitting choice to have a Vermont wedding. With plenty of time spent in the state for family gatherings and getaways, it was a place that always held special meaning. Traveling from near and far guests took part in a morning fun run, a swim at the Dorset Quarry and a welcome bbq – along with impromptu hikes and exploration. The wedding day was ideal, with warm temperatures lasting through September and plenty of sunshine.
Now, I know I have too many images to share. It’s a problem when you are emotionally attached to the day – and of course this barely scratches the surface of the interaction and people that made it amazing. I hope that if you were there, you find a few favorites in the gallery + I would love to hear what moments or images stood out to you most.
what an amazing wedding to be a part of – and one last picture for the night of me with Meg + Chris – so that we can look back in ten years and say I can’t believe that was when I photographed your wedding! There were many other amazing people a part of this day and they include :
