I’m so grateful for these two. I love coming home, or reuniting and being together again. My weekend in Pittsburgh was a success, the city won me over and I have a few thousand photos to sort through and narrow down to the finished images I’ll edit and share. Now more than ever I love taking a break and separating work from family life. I used to let them mingle so the line was indistinguishable, however I’m learning each day how to set boundaries and goals to enjoy both.

The principals that help me most so that I can be more productive in my business and more present for my family:

1. get sleep  2.  schedule your day  3.  take time off

It’s that simple but of course I like to make it more complicated. When I do, I come back to the basics and try to realign… cause that guy and that little girl mean the world to me.

great advice for those of us without kids too! especially that “take time off” bit.
